Two pairs of early nineteenth century silver sugar tongs, each of plain form, the first George III example hallmarked William Bateman I, London 1814, the second George IV pair hallmarked Thomas Wallis (II) & Jonathan Hayne, London 1820. Together with five George III silver salt/mustard spoons, four examples by the same maker, (maker's mark worn). Total weight 4.06 ozt (126.4 grams).
