Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver footed dish with swing handle, the circular form with applied oval bead rim enclosing a wide pierced border further decorated with husk motifs, and with conforming bead detail to handle. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1912. Diameter measuring 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm), weight 22.39 ozt (696.5 grams).

Condition Report
The dish appears quite tarnished throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. Otherwise appears in good overall condition, displaying some expected surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Hinges to swing handle appear in good working order and the handle self supports when upright. Very slight compression to foot on one side. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
