An Edwardian silver-gilt presentation key to Mrs Emily Daniell, with personal monogram and foliate wreath enclosing a terminal modelled as the Daniell Memorial Hall, the Mission buildings in Hope Street, in original fitted case also monogrammed. Hallmarked Marples & Beasley, Birmingham 1906. Length 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 2.7 ozt (84 grams). </p>
'Sept. 29th 1906. Presented to Mrs E. Daniell to open New Mission Buildings Hope St. Birmingham. Her gift to Moseley Baptist Church. Christopher Silk. E.Stanley Mitton. Architects'. Family association with Lots 819 & 820. </p>

Condition Report
Appears in good overall condition, displaying some light surface wear, marks and scratches. Some slightly heavier wear and rubbing to gilding around edges. Hallmarks clear and legible. General expected wear to case with some fading and discolouration to material lining. Velvet showing some dirt marks and areas of heavier wear, ribbon to hold key in place is broken.
