Condition Report
Displaying some tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Heavier wear around edges and corners, particularly on one end where there is a hole in one corner and a crack along join. Rubbing and loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration, especially area around the circular panel on lid. Also deeper scratches and marks in this area. Hinged lid appears in good working order and snaps shut securely. Many scratches to interior and faded gilding. Hallmarks rubbed but legible, maker's marks a little distorted.
