A Victorian silver snuff box, the rectangular form with scrolled edge and engraved throughout with trailing leaf patterns, the hinged lid with name engraving to 'Revd. J. Scanlan' and floral scroll thumb-piece. Hallmarked Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham 1880. Length measuring 6.9 cm, weight 77 grams.
