A silver and silver-gilt commemorative bowl for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, designed for the centenary of its inception, the circular form decorated with a gilded frieze depicting scenes from the Great March of 1874 and the removable lid with a further gilded crown surmount. Hallmarked Aurum Ltd., London 1973, limited edition no. 145/500, with certificate. Maximum diameter measuring 7 inches (18 cm), gross weight 28.22 ozt (877.6 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. A couple of minor surface bruises. Also a few heavier scratched marks and edge nicks and some heavier contact marks to underside of foot. The lid is a good fit. Hallmarks located to one side of bowl and are clear and legible.
