Lot Description
A George V silver snuff box, the rectangular form with scroll edge enclosing engine turned decoration and monogrammed circular panel, hallmarked George Randle, Birmingham 1923, length measuring 5.8 cm. Together with a silver mounted mesh purse, hallmarked Cohen & Charles, London import 1916. (2).

Condition Report
Both with some heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Both displaying some surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Hinged lid to snuff box appears in good working order and closes flush. Gilded interior still fairly bright. A few losses or breaks in the mesh of the purse, slight gap remains when closed. Hallmarks to both clear and legible, purse with further indistinct marks near to hinge on one side.
