Condition Report
Appears in good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some loss of surface detail to the engine-turned border decoration on the lid. Floral chasing appears in good, crisp condition. Hinged lid appears in good working order. Gilded interior of base appears fairly bright, the reverse of lid with some fading and residues of dirt. Also some heavier scratched marks, nicks and pitting marks to the interior. Part hallmarks to the base, rubbed but legible. Lid reverse also with part hallmarks but very worn, part of lion passant, monarch head and date letter just visible.
