Lot Description
Two George III small silver mugs, each of baluster form to a footed base with a leaf capped double scroll handle, the first also monogram engraved and hallmarked London 1765, maker's mark R.S, possibly for Robert Sallam, the second hallmarked London 1779, indistinct maker's mark. Height of each 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), total weight 10.72 ozt (333.4 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both mugs with some quite heavy tarnishing throughout and surface marks from the tissue paper they were wrapped in. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Both displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and nicks commensurate with their age and general use. Both showing slight impressions to the interior around the join of the lower part of handle. A few minor surface dints and areas of uneven surface. Some minor rim nicks and the monogrammed example with repaired rim split. Hallmarks to both located to the underside of bases, some rubbing and slight distortion but mostly legible.
