Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted jewellery casket, of shaped oblong form and raised upon four swept flat feet, the hinged cover with foliate scroll rim and embossed central cartouche depicting a pair of figures upon a swing in woodland setting. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1902. Length 8 1/2 inches (21.5cm).
