Two mid to later twentieth century silver dishes, the first example a bonbon dish of circular scalloped form, with pierced gallery border and wheat-ears rim, upon footed base with personal engraving, hallmarked Barker Ellis Silver Co, Birmingham 1964, maximum diameter 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), the second of shallow circular form with pierced foliate border and applied fruiting rim, upon footed base, hallmarked Sheffield 1970, maker's mark EL, diameter 8 1/2 inches (21 cm). Total weight 20.06 ozt (624 grams).

Condition Report
Both displaying general surface scratches, nicks, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Both dishes heavily tarnished throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish, the first example more so, and also with slight compression to the foot, foot engraved 'To Mum & Dad on your Silver Wedding Anniversary From the Family, Dec 9th 1967. Hallmarks clear and legible.
