An Edwardian silver mounted easel back mirror, the heart shape bevelled edge mirror plate within a silver pierced floral and foliate scroll surround surmounted with vacant asymmetrical cartouche, mounted on a shaped wood back with easel fitting. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1905. Maximum height 14 1/2 inches (37 cm).

Condition Report
The silver mount appears quite tarnished and displays some surface dints and bumps throughout, particularly noticeable to the vacant cartouche. Also some small holes and splits in the metal. Hallmarks clear and legible. Mirror plate appears in good order. Some general surface wear and fading to the wood. Some small holes visible to the reverse of the wood, possibly from a previous mount of fixing? Easel back in working order and stands firm.
