Lot Description
A 1920's silver dish, the quatrefoil form with twin scrolling handles, an oval pierced border below the rim and raised on four paw feet, with presentation engraving to centre. Hallmarked Sibray, Hall & Co Ltd (Charles Clement Pilling), Sheffield 1922. Length 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm), weight 15.07 ozt (468.6 grams).

Condition Report
Displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few heavier contact scratches and nicks, especially visible to the centre around the engraving. Some very slight dints. Splits and repairs to rim, on either side of the scrolled handles at each end. Slight wobble when standing on feet. Hallmarks located to underside, a little rubbed but still clearly legible, also with a retailer's mark for Finnigans Manchester and numbered 3173.
