Lot Description

A 1930's silver three piece tea service in Art Deco style, comprising teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug, each of stepped conical form to a spread footed base, the teapot with ivory handle and finial. Hallmarked London 1934 with maker's mark 'W Ld'. Height of teapot including finial 6 inches (15.2 cm), gross weight 18.76 ozt (583.5 grams).

Appears in good overall condition, all three pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Minor surface nicks or pin prick marks visible to some areas. Slight dints to one side of the teapot. Hinged lid appears in good working order. Heavily stained to the interior. Several cracks to the ivory handle and finial. Hallmarks a little rubbed but all legible, including part hallmarks to lid.
