A mid 19th century 18ct gold coral suite. The necklace designed as coral and engraved bead trefoils, spaced to the woven fancy-link chain, suspending a carved coral tassel swag, with similarly designed bracelet, earrings and brooch. French assay marks. Length of necklace 36cms. Length of bracelet 20cms. Length of earrings 5.4cms. Length of brooch 5.7cms. Weight 57.6gms. With fitted case. Coral untested.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Earrings and brooch designs also with foliate elements.
<li>Small area of probable repair to one end of the brooch.
<li>Earrings with replacement screw fittings for non-pierced ears.
<li>Few minor pinhole wear to some of the beads.
<li>Swag to the bracelet probably adapted, ill-fitting to the fitted case.
<li>Bracelet clasp tongue possibly repaired at the grip.
<li>Some beads to the necklace have fine splits at the seam.
<li>Approximate length of swag 7.5cms.
<li>The beads are a combination of engraved and embossed features.
<li>Coral untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Coral are a well matched, slightly mottled, deep medium slightly reddish orange. Some discoloured polyp holes and fine fissures.
<li>Coral beads are slightly uneven in size and shape to the bracelet.
<li>Coral bead diameter 4.2 to 11.6mms. Approximate length of carved coral tassels 14.5mms each.
