Lot Description

A large Doulton Lambeth stoneware stick stand, the body of baluster form decorated with foliage upon a central green glazed texture band, enclosed within further bands of blue and brown, with indistinct paintress mark to base, (a/f), 24" (61cm).

Crack running through base and up through side of vase to top. A number of chips to foot of base. Crazing, losses, marks and scratches to the glaze. Some areas where colour has not taken well. Possible areas of overpainting.
