Lot Description

A George V silver teapot, of circular squat form with ebonised curved handle and finial to the hinged cover, the body with beaded detail, and conforming bead rim to the stepped circular foot, together with a matching cream jug. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield probably 1920. Height of teapot 5.25" (13cm) and cream jug 3.25" (8.5cm), gross weight 21.97 ozt (683.5 grams).

Teapot with nock to side of body. Handle and finial with scratches and some indentations. Handle and finial slightly different in colour, one possibly a replacement.

Cream jug with crack running through handle.
