Lot Description
A Burmese style frame of rectangular form, the oval aperture within pierced leafy scroll surround surmounted with an ogre figure on horseback and further embellished with deity figures and birds with a pair of peacocks, one to each lower corner, flanking a small tiger to the centre, all in repoussed high relief, the reverse fitted with wire easel back on chain and a further suspension loop. Appears unmarked. Maximum height 9.75" (24.8 cm) by width 5.5" (14 cm), gross weight 8.49 ozt (264 grams).

Condition Report
Appears with quite heavy tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish.
Losses to one of the top corners, small section missing. Further minor edge knocks and some breaks in the pierced decoration.
Some general surface wear, marks and rubbing but overall the decoration appears in good crisp condition.
Easel back in working order. Some indistinct marks to the lower support bar.
