Lot Description

A mid-20th century Scottish silver quaich, of typical twin-handled form with plain circular bowl raised on an ogee shape foot. Hallmarked J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd., Edinburgh 1959. Length including handles 7.5" (19cm), weight 7.86 ozt (244.4 grams).

Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and expected surface marks, scratches and nicks.

Some heavier contact marks and nicks to the interior of the bowl.

Slight bash to foot rim so that it is a little upturned on one side.

Hallmarks located just below rim, slight rubbing but still clear.
