Lot Description

A small silver compact, of oval form with engine turned decoration to the whole and vacant circular panel to the hinged cover, mounted on a suspension chain, hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd, Birmingham, probably 1917, length 4.5cm. Together with a late Victorian silver vesta case, later converted to a lighter, hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, Birmingham 1900, and a continental pill box, of oval form with stylised foliate rim to base, and inset carnelian to the hinged cover, marked 925. (3).
