Lot Description
A Liberty 'Cymric' silver belt buckle, of two interlocking parts, each of heart shape with looped tendril and bud motifs. Hallmarked Liberty & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1903 and stamped 'CYMRIC'. Maximum length 3.25" (8.5cm), gross weight 1.63 ozt (50.7 grams).

Condition Report
Displaying some general expected surface ware, marks and scratches to the whole.
Some tarnishing, heavier to the reverse.
Surface wear and rubbing with some significant loss of detail to areas of the decoration.
Two parts fit together well. Wire fittings to reverse are slightly bent. Appears to be a solder repair at join of one of the hooks.
One part with full hallmarks and other section marked only with date letter and lion passant. Some light rubbing but all legible.
