Full Lot Description
A William IV silver snuff box, the rectangular form with floral chased convex sides, and engine-turned decoration to base and hinged lid, the lid also with central vacant panel. Hallmarked Birmingham 1835, with maker's mark TS. Length 2.25" (5.7cm), gross weight 1.4 ozt (43.6 grams).

<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
<li>Some slightly heavier wear around edges and corners including minor surface nicks.
<li>Surface wear and rubbing to the decoration, causing loss of detail to some areas, in particular some sections of the engine-turning.
<li>Floral chasing appears in good order.
<li>Hinges appear in working order, however the lid does not close completely flush and rises up again slightly.
<li>Gilt interior with some surface wear and tarnishing/stained marks, a sticker mark and other residues, especially around inner edges.
<li>Hallmarks located to interior base and reverse of lid; these all clear and legible with minor rubbing.
