A selection of mainly novelty items to include a late Victorian sovereign case, of circular, engraved form with central, vacant panel on ring attachment, hallmarked William Neal, Chester 1900, a similarly decorated vesta case, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1899, a 925 stamped pill box of oval form and a shoe pin cushion with beaded decoration through out. Together with a gold plated compass, two folding knives, one hallmarked Thomas Marples, Birmingham 1889, a glass match striker and two hallmarked silver mounted glass pots. (11)

<li>Multiple item lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches.
<li>Shoe pin cushion tests around 93% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
<li>Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver, gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
<li>Pill and vesta case are very darkly tarnished.
<li>Sovereign case is difficult to prise open.
<li>Glass to pots all display general chips and losses, especially to glass stopper of one.
<li>Hallmarks are all clear and legible, except for hallmarks to the silver mount of one pot.
