Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted trump marker, the rounded rectangular form with cut-out suit symbols and TRUMP on green guilloché enamel panel, with a moving pointer to indicate which suit is trumps. Hallmarked Lawrence Emanuel, Birmingham 1899. Measuring 2.5" (6.5cm) by 2" (5cm).

<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
<li>Some tarnishing to areas of the silver mount, and especially around the small fixing pins.
<li>Residues of dirt around the cut out letters and shapes of the mount.
<li>The pointer appears in working order.
<li>The punches of the hallmarks are blackened with old polish and dirt but the marks themselves are all clearly legible. Lion passant on the pointer is a little rubbed.
<li>Also with registered number.
<li>Some dark patches visible to the green enamel.
<li>Some heavier scratches, scuffs and minor edge chips to the reverse.
