A late Victorian 15ct gold sapphire, seed and split pearl quatrefoil pendant.
Central sapphire calculated weight 0.71ct, based on estimated dimensions of 5 by 3.8 by 4.5mms.

<li>Surface scratches and minimal marks.
<li>Surmount is detachable. Central panel with three prong screw thread fitting.
<li>Seed and split pearls appear well matched with a white hue, slight variations in overtones and lustre. Two with slight wear to the nacre layers.
<li>The pearls in the closed back quatrefoil are presumed split pearls.
<li>Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Sapphires are a light medium to medium deep blue. Variation in tone and saturation.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
