A late 19th century silver and gold, vari-cut diamond, demantoid garnet and pearl brooch.
Principal diamond estimated weight 0.30ct, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity.
Length 6.5cms. 12.6gms.
Pearls untested for natural origin.

<li>Scratches and small dents. General noticeable discolouration.
<li>Drop deficient.
<li>Converted from a necklace. Small loops present, potential to possibly convert back.
<li>Non-principal diamonds are a combination of single and rose-cuts. Some set pavillion facing.
<li>Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Demantoid garnets are a fairly well matched bright deep medium yellowy green to deep slightly yellowish green. Minor to significanr, mostly facet-edge abrasions.
<li>Pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Largest pearl is semi baroque, yellowish cream, discolouration and varied overtones. Some wear to nacre and wear around the drill hole.
<li>Estimated diameter 7.4-7.2mms.
<li>Part-drilled pearls estimated diameter 3.8 to 3.4mms.
