Two early 20th century Japanese Meiji / Taisho period Satsuma vases, the first of swollen tapering form decorated to the lower section with figures playing games, various craftsman, street sellers and in conversation, the upper half with trailing wisteria and a band of flowers, two character mark, height 16cm, the second of waisted flared form with two cartouche panels depicting woman and children in a blossom garden against a patterned ground, red painted character mark, height 12cm (2)
