Full Lot Description
A mid-20th century silver chalice of planished form, tapering into a wide, spread foot, engraved to base 'Given in Memory of Guy Copeland Stanbridge Vicar of St.Peter, Birmingham, From 1923 To 1959' and a rectangular, wood lined wafer box, opening to reveal detachable gilt wafer grille, engraved to base 'St. Peter's Church, Birmingham D.D F.G ST.MP August 1961', both with Saint Peter's Keys engraving to girdle and finial. Hallmarked S G M, Birmingham 1961. Height and weight of chalice 6.5" (16.5cm), 13.39 ozt (416.6 grams).
