Full Lot Description
A pair of Hazorfim candlesticks, the tapered, square base upon plumed stepped feet, with decorative plumed, engraved and beaded detail to each corner, rising to panelled stem with acanthus border and capital of conforming design, stamped 'Hazorfim' to base and to sides. Together with a singular candlestick, with domed, embossed base and bulbous stem, unmarked. Height of pair 39.5cm and of smaller example 19.8cm.

Condition Report
- Items both show moderate surface scratches, marks, wear and dark tarnishing.
- Pair of candlesticks display especially dark tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish.
- One candlestick within pair wobbles on base.
- Both examples in pair show polish and wax residue through out. including within capital.
- Gross weight is inclusive of all elements, including stainless steel insert to base on pair of candlesticks.
- Exterior of pair tests around 97-98% Ag. Singular example tests around 93-94% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
