Full Lot Description
A Victorian silver four piece tea and coffee service, comprising teapot, coffee pot, double handled sugar pot with cover and cream jug, of tapering form, each having interlocking, geometrical and scrolled band to upper body and rim of cover, above twin opposed vacant cartouche. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co., London and Sheffield 1874. Height of coffee pot 25.3cm, gross overall weight 74.8ozt (2329.4g). Ivory exemption registration reference: SQ23TKBG

Condition Report
- Items are in fair condition in consideration of age and use, showing general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Tea pot and double handled pot show darker tarnishing.
- Hinged lids all fit well upon rims. Hinged lid to tea pot is a little wobbly and insecure.
- There are some very slightly bashed and uneven areas to coffee pot.
- Handle to tea pot wobbles slightly on ivory insulators.
- Finials all show some slight nicks and dints.
- Cover to sugar pot is hallmarked Sheffield, with all other items hallmarked London. Cover wobbles slightly upon rim.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible through out.
