Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver pierced twin-handled dish, the oval form with shaped acanthus scroll rim above floral and foliate pierced body, and raised on acanthus scroll feet detailed with flowers, the applied handles similarly decorated. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1901. Maximum length including handles 37.5cm, and height 17cm, weight 36.48ozt (1134.6g). In fitted presentation case measuring 40.5cm by 25cm.

Condition Report
- Appears in good overall condition.
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some minor dints to areas of the pierced decoration; however overall the chased, engraved and pierced decoration all appears in good order.
- Slight cracks to a couple of the feet, and the dish does wobble slightly on its feet.
- Some heavier tarnishing to the base.
- Hallmarks located to the base, these all clear and legible with some minor rubbing.
- The case with some general expected surface wear, and some fading, dirt and minor tears.
- The case does not close securely as the clasps do not align correctly.
