Full Lot Description
A Guild of Handicraft silver tankard, of planished cylindrical form to a spread base, the slightly domed hinged lid with wide rim and scrolled thumb-piece to a simple scroll handle with pointed terminal. Hallmarked London 1919. Height to thumb-piece 15cm, weight 18.2ozt (566g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and general use.
- With some fairly heavy tarnishing throughout.
- Some minor surface and edge nicks.
- Slight knocks and heavier scuffs around the base rim.
- Hinged lid with slight movement but appears in good working order.
- Possible file marks to the base.
- Further lighter patch to the top of the lid, possibly from a sticker?
- Hallmarks located to the main body with further marks under the rim of the lid; with some residues of old polish in the punches and minor rubbing, but all marks still clear and legible.
