Full Lot Description
A Victorian silver butter knife, with mother-of-pearl handle and foliage engraving to blade, hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1896, and part christening set, comprising Albany Pattern style knife and spoon, hallmarked Francis Higgins III, London 1899; together with a cased set of silver handled fruit knives and forks, for six place setting, each with sinuously scrolled detail to terminals, hallmarked William Yates Ltd, Sheffield 1921, and a pair of silver plated open salts, plus a silver hallmarked spoon. Overall silver weight excluding silver-handled set 4.5ozt (140.3g).

Condition Report
- Items show varying degrees of surfaces scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Victorian butter knife appears in good overall condition. Interior to case is in fair condition, but exterior is quite worn.
- Part Christening set is quite dull, with some deep dints to underside of spoon bowl.
- Part Christening set has a recess in case for a napkin ring, that is missing.
- Some examples to the fruit knife and fork set are quite darkly tarnished. Hallmarks are all clear and legible to this set.
- Of all cases, case to fruit set is in poorest condition, showing damage and age all over.
- Plated open salt set appears in fair condition.
- Hallmarked silver spoon is quite dull.
