A George V silver mounted large novelty pin cushion, modelled in the form of a brogue shoe with wood base, the cushion top hinge opening to an oval compartment. Hallmarked Chester 1910, maker's mark worn. Length 12.8cm.

- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- With a notable dint to the front of the shoe; and further minor surface nicks and dints all over.
- Some loss of surface detail or definition to areas of the decoration.
- Visible seams with some possible repairs.
- Wood base.
- Cushion lid and lining appears worn, faded and threadbare in places.
- Residues of dried blackened polish to some areas and crevices.
- Hallmarks are rubbed but legible; maker's mark worn with only traces visible.
