A silver mounted novelty pin cushion, in the form of an elephant, modelled standing with trunk lowered. Hallmarked Cohen & Charles, Birmingham, date letter worn (c.1895-1910). Length 4.5cm, height 3cm, gross weight 28.5g.

- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some minor surface dints and nicks.
- Slight loss of surface detail or definition to areas of the decoration.

- Cushion is very worn, faded and threadbare in places.
- Hallmarks partly rubbed, mainly the date letter.
