A George V silver mounted novelty pin cushion, modelled in the form of a hatching chick. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co., Chester 1911, registered no. 475678. Height 3.5cm, gross weight 24.4g.
Sold with a copy of a contemporary advert for the pin cushion, which appeared in society journal 'The Ladies Field'
