Full Lot Description
Two silver overlay teapot stands, both with a decorative fret over clear glass, one hallmarked Docker & Burn Ltd., Birmingham 1930, the second Birmingham 1924 (makers mark rubbed), diameter 15cm. Together with a cased silver handled Queen's pattern cake slice, hallmarked Harrisons Brothers, Sheffield 1965, length 25cm, and a cased silver handled button hook and shoe horn, hallmarked Birmingham 1923. Condition Report
- Teapot stands:
- The 1924 example is not affixed to the base and so the fret spins. It also pushes up and down in the middle
- Both sets of hallmarks are a little rubbed
- Both tarnished
- Both with scuffs and marks
- Cake knife:
- Hallmarks are clear and legible
- Looks unused
- Box perhaps a little tatty with staining
- Shoe horn and button hook:
- The horn and hook are both rusted and pitted
- The silver handles are blackened / tarnished
- The case is a little tatty / worn
