A George V silver hip flask, of rounded rectangular form and monogram engraved, the flat top bun shape lid on hinged arm. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1915. Height 11cm, gross weight 3.44ozt (107g).

- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use
- Notable dints to one of the top corners and edge of the lid; with further minor dints and nicks to other parts
- Seam line visible all around body, and starting to split in some areas
- Lid appears jammed in position and cannot be easily removed
- Hallmarks located to base with minor rubbing; maker's mark partly worn but still legible
