Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver hip flask, the rounded rectangular form with removable cup, and bun shape hinged lid with bayonet closure, monogram engraved. Hallmarked Carnelly & Co., Birmingham 1887. Height 12cm, gross weight 4.67ozt (145.5g).

Condition Report
- Appears quite dirty and heavily tarnished all over and in need of a clean
- With many surface marks and scratches all over, including heavier contact marks from the repeated removal of the cup
- Some minor surface dints or bruises, most notably to the lid and some of the rounded corners, including the base corners of the cup
- The cup also has a row of pimple marks below the rim on one side
- Seams visible around main body and cup
- Engraved monogram very worn
- Bayonet closure of lid in good working order and closes securely, cork inside
- All parts are hallmarked, partly worn or rubbed but mostly still legible
