Full Lot Description
A 1930's silver and enamel small compact, the rounded square form with engine-turned sides and base, and light blue guilloché enamel to the top, opening to a silver-gilt interior fitted with a mirror and pierced hinged cover to the powder section. Hallmarked Cohen & Charles, London 1932. Measuring 4.8cm square, gross weight 2.37ozt (74g).

Condition Report
- Appears in fairly good overall condition with some general light surface wear and tarnishing
- Slightly heavier wear and some minor bruises to corners
- Some scratches and little nicks to the surface of the enamel
- Hinge pin is protruding a little on one side, but the compact closes neatly and securely
- Some powder residues inside, otherwise appears clean
- Hallmarks located inside with part marks to the pierced cover; and further part marks to an exterior edge; all are clear and legible
- Hinge inside also stamped PAT. 11743/31
