A mid-20th century silver and enamel circular compact, the hinged lid decorated with red roses on a white guilloché enamel ground, with engine-turned base. Hallmarked Garrard & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1968. Diameter 7.8cm, gross weight 3.53ozt (110g)

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
- Silver appears with some heavy tarnishing to the exterior and interior, and would benefit from a clean
- Some dirt residues to the surface of the enamel, and surface scratches and minor nicks, but appears in fairly good condition overall
- Hinges in good working order but the clasp is not working effectively so that the case does not feel very secure when closed
- Slight compression to the base
- Residues of powder inside
- Hallmarks located inside and these all legible; also stamped 'GARRARD & CO LTD 112 REGENT ST. LONDON'
