A 1930's silver and enamel circular compact, the white guilloché enamel lid with red border and red lion rampant crest to centre, engine-turned base. Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1938. Diameter 7cm, gross weight 1.9ozt (59.3g).

- Damage and losses to the enamel, and many surface scratches and nicks
- Silver appears quite dirty and heavily tarnished and in need of a clean
- With several shallow dints and creases to the base, seen more to the inside surface
- Hinges and clasp appear in good working order and it closes securely
- Hallmarks are located inside and these are clear and legible
