A Victorian silver rectangular card case, with all over engine-turned decoration and a vacant cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1873, measuring 9.8cm by 6.8cm; together with a foliate-scroll engraved late Victorian silver snuff box, hallmarked William James Dingley, Birmingham 1893, measuring 5cm by 3cm. Gross weight 3.21ozt (99.8g). (2).

- Card Case:
- Displaying some fairly heavy tarnishing all over and in need of a clean
- With some general surface wear, scratches, nicks and minor dints.
- Heavier wear around edges, and particularly to the corners, which show some bashes and small solder repairs.
- Hinged lid appears in good working order and it closes securely.
- Hallmarks located to inner rim and these are clear and legible with some minor rubbing and blackening in the punches; no visible maker's mark.
- Snuff Box:
- With general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age.
- Several visible solder repairs around the hinges.
- Some visible seams.
- Hallmarks located inside, these are all clearly legible with some minor rubbing.
