A late George III silver snuff box, of rounded rectangular form with engine-turned decoration all over, the inset flush-hinge lid with crested and monogrammed oval panel. Hallmarked Alexander J Strachan, London 1808. Measuring 9cm by 5cm, weight 3.52ozt (109.4g)

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Some minor surface nicks.
- Showing some small bashes and knocks, mainly to the four corners.
- Hinges to the inset lid appear in good working order and it closes flush.
- However, there is a small amount of damage around the hinges and a couple of small holes on one side.
- Slight edge nick to one side of lid.
- Gilt interior.
- Hallmarks located inside and these clear and legible with some minor rubbing.
