An Italian silver sculpture or desk ornament, modelled as a great white shark. Post 1968 Italian National mark for Milan, also stamped 'sterling 925' and 'eseguito a mano'. Length 49cm, gross weight 24.63ozt (766g).

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and nicks.
- Some general tarnishing and brownish colour patches/stains to some areas, including around eyes, teeth and some edges.
- Two holes in the underside of main body; was likely originally fixed on a stand but stand is not present.
- Marks are located to one of the front fins.
- In addition to Italian assay and sterling marks, the shark is also marked 'brev' meaning 'patent' with unidentified maker's mark.
- And 'eseguito a mano' translates to 'done by hand'
