A novelty silver import pepper pot modelled as a chick, with pierced pull-off head, and plumage detail. Hallmarked William Moering, London 1901, alongside the Foreign Mark. Height 3.5cm, weight 31g.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches, consistent with age
- With tarnishing and blackening to some areas and crevices
- Surface wear and rubbing to areas of the plumage decoration, causing slight loss of detail or definition to some areas
- Pull-off head is a good fit
- Hallmarks located to base, these clear and legible with some minor rubbing; also impressed 930 with two further marks, possibly Hanau
- Lid struck with lion passant and the Foreign Mark
