A French silver mounted glass claret jug, the ovoid clear glass body with etched foliage decoration, and silver mounts decorated with trailing, fruiting vine, to a foliate detailed handle (foot detached). Minerva mark for 950 standard. Height 31cm.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
- With some tarnishing, staining and residues of dried polish to the silver mounts.
- Some minor surface dints.
- Hinged lid appears in working order.
- The base of the handle and the foot have become detached from the glass body and will require attention.
- There is possibly something missing from the foot as there is a very small mount attached to the front, possibly for a pin to fit through.
