Full Lot Description
A George V silver pedestal cup or caddy, the vase shape body with domed hinged lid, and raised oval to the front with allegorical female figure standing by an anchor, raised on an oval foot to a rectangular base. Hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd., London 1913. Height to wood finial 13.5cm, gross weight 7.02ozt (218.6g).

Condition Report
- Figure probably symbolising or representing Hope
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use
- Residues of dried polish and a little blackening to some areas and crevices
- Some minor surface dints and nicks
- Surface wear and rubbing to the raised oval, causing some loss of detail or definition to the figure
- Hinged lid with slight movement and a little gap remains around the edge when closed, mainly either side of hinges; wood finial is loose and cannot be easily tightened
- Some heavier tarnishing and surface marks to the interior, and a visible seam
- Hallmarks located to the reverse of body, these partly rubbed but legible; with clear part hallmarks to the lid
