A George III silver meat skewer, of typical form with plain ring terminal, hallmarked London 1796, maker's mark W.S, length 28.5cm, weight 2.12ozt (66.2g); together with a Georgian silver and mother-of-pearl handled folding two-prong travel fork, with lion passant and duty mark only, length extended 12cm. (2).

Condition Report
- Meat skewer:
- Displaying many surface scratches, marks and nicks all over, some fairly deep
- With patches of tarnishing/blackening
- Pointed end has lost some of its sharpness and feels a little blunt
- Hallmarks located just below the ring terminal, these are a little rubbed but all still clearly legible
- Folding fork:
- Displaying surface scratches and marks
- Metal appears quite tarnished with many little surface nicks/gouges
- Tips of the fork tines have retained some sharpness
- Folding action appears in good working order
- With engraved initials
- Hallmarks rubbed but legible
