Full Lot Description
A George IV silver vinaigrette, of rounded rectangular with reeded sides and engine-turned decoration, the hinged top with floral chased border and initialled to the centre, opening to a silver-gilt interior with floral and foliate pierced grille. Hallmarked Birmingham 1822, with maker's mark 'TS'. Measuring 3.5cm by 2.5cm, gross weight 20g.

Condition Report
- Appears in tired overall condition
- With some fairly heavy surface wear and many little dints, more notable to the base with some significant loss of surface detail to the engine turning
- A little blackening and residues of dirt/dried polish to some areas and crevices
- A little damage around the hinges of the grille and springs back up when closed; consequently the main lid is quite stiff to open and close
- Hallmarks located inside, rubbed in parts; further lion passant struck to the grille
